Day 1 Dec. 23: ( D )

We will welcome you at the airport and take you for a small city tour to show you the Old Whitepass and Yukon Railroad Station, the Log Sky-Scraper, the old Log Church and the Paddlewheeler SS Klondike. After that we drive to the Mt. Lorne Aurora B&B. Take some time for yourself, before you will spend a big part of the night on our huge deck to catch the dancing northern lights, while inside a crackling fire is burning in our fireplace.

Day 2 Dec 24: ( B, D )

After a hearty breakfast we will take you to a dog kennel of a Yukon Quest musher. At arrival the dogs will give you a loud welcome. Watch and learn how the dogs and sleds are being prepared for your adventure. After a thorough introduction how to handle a dog sled you will start to steer your own team of 3 or 4 dogs over the trails. In the evening we will have a traditional German Christmas Dinner.

Day 3 Dec 25: ( B, L, D )

Today we will go out to have a lot of fun. We will pack the snow shoes, toboggan, the canoe ( yes you can believe it ) and the snow machine and drive to the Carcross Desert . This now snow covered “Smallest desert in the world” is the ideal place for sledding and all kinds of winter fun. For lunch we will light a bon fire to roast some wieners. In the evening a typical Canadian Christmas Dinner – Turkey , is on the menu.

Day 4 Dec 26: ( B )

In the morning we will take you to the airport.

Every night you will have the chance to look out for Aurora Borealis!
