Writing in a guest book mean that we already have to leave even though we wouldn't like to do so. It is time to go back home and work, to the city and continue the life with the best memories from such a beautiful place which has been even more magical and special thanks to Sylke,Frank & Mami as well to the nice chattings with Claudi & Christoph and with the lovely Japanese couple that spent the nights along us chasing the magic of the Northern lights. Yes,on top of everything (that was already awesome) we did see and enjoying amazing Auroras, the three nights we could see them with the first two nights empowered with probably the most beautiful ones to start and finish my Birthday with such a beautiful gift of my husband, God and the sky along the best company in the perfect place. We felt like at home, the food was delicious, the birthday cake that Sylke & Mami made was great and nothing could be better. No words can tell what we feel and the biggest thank wouldn't be enough even. Thanks for everything! P.S : The house and the place is even more beautiful than in the website and pictures!

What a fantastic week we have had. We came all the way from Australia to see the Northern Lights (which we haven't seen yet!!) However, have had such a great time snow mobiling and dogsledding. It wouldn't have been so much fun without Frank trying to pull the wool over my eyes. He has a great sense of humour and we had many laughs even though he couldn't understand Lloyd's accent sometimes. Sylke is a wonderful hostess and a great cook and it was lovely to have Mami around too. It has certanly been the highlight of our trip and made especially so because of Frank +Sylke. We really enjoyed talking to you both about the Yukon and thanks for all the travel tips. Thank you for providing a very warm and welcome B&B stay.

This trip is my first time visit to Canada. I had very little time to plan for this trip to start wth in fact. The only fragment information of information I had were Canada is above the United States. She has big cities like Vancouver, Toront. so, what about Yukon? I first heard of it from my coffee tasting session in Starbucks,Singapore!
There are a few things that I have set to do in my life time and viewing the Northern lights. That it can only be viewed in places like Finland as it was usually features in movies about christmas and santa clause. This was so until I stumbled on yukonrecreation.com and decided to take up the 4 days Yukon adventure pack with an additional day for snowmobile.
I was greeted warmly by Frank at the airport and Sylke and Mami when I arrived at their house. A beautiful room had been
arranged for me. From then, I had a great time with Frank, Sylke, Mami as well as other guests staying with us, namely Judith, Yao and Joanne. There are also two lovely dogs,Tucker and Kira.
Though my stay here is short (5days), I must say I am very pleased and fortunate to be here as I managed to witness one the best Northern Lights. On top of this, I have even experience my first time in dog sledding and snow mobile. Even the city tour turned out to be a pleasant surprised to have witness the Yukon quest! Thank you so much to Frank, Sylke and Mami(for taking me out for a hike of everything else)!

First I wanna say thank you so much to you all- Frank, Sylke and Mami. Also the lovely dogs tucker and kira. For this lovely vacation in a place where is more like " Real Canada" than "Vancouver". Whitehorse is a charming and attracting place to spend plenty of time. It's a pity that I have to leave soon. I'm sure I will miss Whitehorse.miss you all.miss your home cooking (^_^)
This vacation brought me many "first time" in my life- the first time to try a dog sledding and driving a snow mobile, spending romantic time see the northern lights. It was completely exciting to play with dogs as a musher. I will never forget once I had been treated as a ..."best musher". And the snow mobile. I was scared at the first glance on that but forgot that fear soon because I found myself such a racer. Hehe... what surprised me I found Frank to be humourous and easy to get on well with them I used to imagine. In fact I have been always believing Germans to be strict and boring people. Obviously, that depends, doesn't it?
Finally I wanted like to make plenty of compliment to our chef-Sylke and Mami. I'm sure I have gain lot's of weight during these days..(T_T) I love your dessert sooooo much!!!

What can I say? - I had a fabulous time with many thanks to Sylke, Frank, Mami, Tucker & Kira. The house is wonderful & warm, the food is extremely delicious & lots of variety. Sylke & Mami are great cooks. I realise that I need to spend much more time in the Yukon - What a beautiful territory! The dog sledding-only fell off twice. The people & the dogs of Alayuk were delighful. I had a super day in town and actually got to see the 3rd place-getter dogteam & musher come in and got some great photos. And last but definitly not least- the Aurora. The best was saved for last.A clear night & the light started dancing at 8:30pm and by1:30am they were still flickering across the sky. It was the most amazing display - nature's fire works.
Thank you once again & I hope to back next year when the Yukon quest start in Whitehorse & also to see more Aurora.

Thank you for everything!!
