Day 1:

We will welcome you at the airport and take you to the Mt. Lorne Aurora B&B . Over a refreshment you will get some more information about the coming days. Take some time for yourself, before you will spend a big part of the night on our huge deck to catch the dancing northern lights, while inside a crackling fire is burning in our fireplace. |
Day 2:

Let's start the day with a pancake breakfast. After that we start the city tour to show you the Old Whitepass and Yukon Railroad Station, the Mc Bride Museum, the Log Sky-Scraper, the old Log Church and the Paddlewheeler SS Klondike. You can also spend some time walk up and down Main Street for some souvenirs |
Day 3:

After a scenic 1 hour drive to a frozen lake we will get the snow shoes out, show you how to use them and walk out on to the ice. We will take all the fishing equipment and of course the ice auger. Once we have found our spot, we / you will drill the fishing hole. With some luck you will catch Lake Trout, Arctic Grayling or Whitefish. While you are fishing, a fire is burning to keep warm. After an exciting day on the ice we will head back to the B&B . |
Day 4:

Let's spend a full day with the powerful snow machines. After a thorough introduction we will hit the trails. We will ride over frozen lakes, through the forest and open terrain. A powerful visual experience awaits you on top of the mountain. Even beginners will have their fun with it. Our lunch we will take somewhere on the trail. |
Day 5:

Today we will put on our snow-shoes for a hike through the Mt. Lorne area. You will have fun walking through untouched terrain and through the forest . You can have a lot of fun playing in the snow. For lunch we will light a bon fire to roast some wieners on a stick. The rest of the day you will have for yourself, so just relax and enjoy the last dinner at the B&B.

Day 6:

After breakfast we will take you to a dog kennel of a Yukon Quest Musher. At arrival you will get a loud welcome from our four legged friends. The musher will introduce you to your own team and give you a first mushing lesson. This first trip will be about 30 km through the beautiful Southern Lakes Region, with a lunch stop half way. The night you will spend in the cozy log house. |
Day 7:

In the morning you will get your team ready once again for another day out in the snow. The second day of mushing might be a little longer than the first, as you are already experienced. Relax and enjoy the winter wonderland, while the dogs do all the work. |
Day 8:

After a fare well breakfast we will take you to the airport or to a downtown hotel. |

Changes in itinerary due to weather and condition of group are possible. Canadian law requires that you sign a "Waiver of liability" form before you start the trip.
